Sagan's next victory salute

I don't mind the celebrations really, just think they are childish and lacking in class.
But your current avatar shows Sagan doing one of his classic childish and classless celebrations :?:

I think it would be a bit tiring if every rider did these celebrations, but it does add a bit of flavour to the sport to have a few characters. I don't really see how Sagan's celebrations are any different to Contador's pistols or Flecha's arrow loosing.

It has to be said that the Contador pistol thing was a bit rubbish, does he still do that? At least Flecha's salute means something (and plus we don't see it very often...), if Contador followed that logic then he'd have to pull a calculator out of his back pocket and pretend to do some sums.

Please note that none of this is in any way meant to be taken seriously.

I would have thought if we were discussing celebrations which lack class and are disrespectful to fans, race organisers and your fellow pros then this would win everytime....

Personally I think that an almost perfect "phuck the lot of you" from Bertie. He won that Vuelta buy having a bigger pairs of balls than anyone else in the race - he won the right to offend everyone.

Now when are we getting those DNA tests from Puerto bags?

I've been trying to find a picture from MBUK in the mid 90's but I can't. There's one of Jez Avery doing a wheelie with his front wheel out and in his hand, tablecloth and cakes on it. That would be a victory celebration.

This wouldn't be a bad second place though

Hmmm, road biking has the shame of 100 years of institutionalised, organised doping, cheating and race fixing, Mountain biking has the shame of the early 90's day-glo lycra period

If he's got time to slip the trousers on, all the better.

Saw some chav on a BSO this morning who wheelied about 400m of Newport Road in Cardiff during rush hour, taking gaps down the sides of traffic I wasn't prepared to risk with both wheels on the ground and dodging traffic as he jumped red lights. I was tempted to ask him to do the Sagan no hands wheelie but he looked stupid enough to try! I was thinking "what a t*t" but at the same time impressed by his skills and nerve (stupidity?).

Saw FF with the still for this earlier. Apols if I missed the GIF previously. Extravagantly gifted gentleman. He's going to show up on a fixed gear one of these days.

Van Summeren already won Paris Roubaix with a puncture, albeit a rear wheel one.

Sagan outsprinted the poor lad so badly that they even gave him a time-gap.

It was over a minute until any other rider came around that corner too!

Aero! One for the hour record?
You only need two tools: WD40 and Duck Tape.
If it doesn't move and should, use the WD40.
If it shouldn't move and does, use the tape.
