Don't get how he has 100% feedback, as within two, short, iPhone sized pages I saw 3 negatives and a neutral.

Its a Scott Foil 15 by the looks of it. He's even priced it way above the RRP!!

People buy and sell ANY items on ebay to make profits, this doesn't make them thieves. I can't imagine someone with 400+ feedback risking a knocked off bike unless he bought it for a fiver.

Let's be honest, chaps, I have been riding bikes for over 40 years, I could only guess the price is over £2000 because of the electronics and carbon frame. I wouldn't have a clue as it's full price. Just watch a few episodes of Antiques roadshow and try and guess the price of an item!

Not saying that he has stole it but it looks like the person he got it off may have.

Yes but this is not an obscure antique this is a popular mass produced bike that could be found online with a few clicks of the mouse. Not even knowing the price or a rough ball park sends alarm bells, plus wtf is the title of the listing???

Yes I know shouldnt be quick to judge etc, but people will give positive feedback on the product and service, not whether the item was stolen or not, if most people are getting a good deal they will be happy, feedback means nothing in this case imo.

    Come on
Someone "buys you" a new bike worth a few grand on a "car boot sale" and you casually sell it for £3000 just like that without even making an effort to list it properly?
Stolen bikes have typically very few details included in the listings so they are more difficult to trace by the owner.

    BTW

Who would rock up at a car boot sale with a couple of grand in their pocket on the off-chance that there would be a tasty push-bike sat there? If it cast any less then anyone reasonably 'in the know' would suspect it was stolen and not touch it.

Yup it's a 15 although he's now posted the specs of a Premium. He may not be the one who stole it, but there's no way it's legit an the seller is still a grade-A tool.

riding bikes for 40+ years has nothing to do with knowing if a bikes stolen or not. if you said you was a police officer for 40+ years then that would have been worth it.

Something isn't right with this sale, Firs he changes title, then he lists it with wrong components and then the his pricing changes.

It sounds to me like someone has robbed it and gone to a friend and made him list with not knowing it stolen or someone could have just bought an account with good feedback history off someone and now looking to con someone out of hard earned cash.

if the bikes stolen and this is the users account to then hes one dumb criminal because likely hood is, is that someone will report this.

I would just say cash on collection see what he says.

Don't get how he has 100% feedback, as within two, short, iPhone sized pages I saw 3 negatives and a neutral.

the negative/neutral fb is more than 12 months old, so doesn't affect your rating.

Feedback scores only apply to the last 12 months and that account is intermittent; the three negs are all past statute of limitations.....

If you are interested in that bike, why not save on the postage and buy the Omega Seamaster he is also listing as well?
Hi this is a omega watch seamaster it was bought for me I have cartier . omega not my taste no papers. Will be boxed and recorded delivered so if any questions please ask before biding ......

    Anyone want to bide?

His recent buyer feedback looks odd too. Lots of feedback messages with identical text from different sellers. Smells like some controlled scam to increase feedback and star scores between a small group controlling a number of accounts:
