I'm about to strip and replace the entire groupset on my bike and am going to need a few more tools to get the job done.

I've looked at just getting the indvidual tools I need but with the cost of that it looks like I might as well get a whole kit and get a few extras that I'm sure I will need in the future.

What I really want to know is which kits people have used and if there are any they can recommend.

Cheers

Not sure what tools you require for that job and I will probably get shot down for my suggestion but I have a X Tools kit has about 30 odd tools in it and so far I have used the chain remover and allen keys and spanners which all work fine and no deterioration. Think it was around £30 from chain reaction.

No complaints here but then I have only used them a few times, the rest is still all untouched. My mate did suggest I buy all Parks tools quoting 'you buy cheap you buy twice' but frankly how many times am I going to use them and my standard house tools do not break after a few uses so whats the difference?

For me, quality is fine there are a few X Tools kits with varying number of tools so you can pick whichever meets your requirements.

+1 to the chain reaction toolkit.

The only thing it is missing is a 10mm allen key which can be bought for about 2.99 most places (Evans to name 1)

Sure nobody cares but I ended up going with this

good selection of tools and the inclusion of cable cutters was what swung it for me.

Managed to get it for £50 with a discount code! Everything feels really high quality and its all performed flawlessly while changing the groupset on my bike!
