Fulcrum 7 & Tiagra HG50 9 speed casette
Hi,
Just purchased some Fulcrum 7's to replace the original Ritchey wheels on my Boardman Road bike.
I bought them with the Shimano freehub and a new Tiagra HG50 9 speed cassette.
I have fitted these 2 together but it seems that it is almost missing a 1-2 mm spacer as there is play in the cassette even when tight.
The manual seems to say that 9 speed is fine and you only need an extra spacer when using 10 speed.
The freehub has 11speed stamped on it.
Does anyone have any idea of what I am missing?
Thanks
Simon

Yes,
you need the 1.8 mm spacer which should have been supplied with the wheels... if it is not supposed to be supplied, then get hold of a Shimano 1.8 mm spacerleft the forum March 20230 -
Hi ugo,
Many thanks for the swift reply.
Looks to be all sorted.
I did see the spacer but the manual makes no mention of it.
Fitted and now very snug.
