Mavic Ksyrium Elite 2012 wear.

I checked my wheels for wear on the brake surfaces today.
The rear wheel surface is flat and shows no sign of any wear.
The front wheel has concaved surfaces. Using digital vernier calipers I have measured the wear on each surface at 0.30mm.
The wheels don't have wear indicators. I cannot find any data on acceptable wear but to me the level of wear does not seem excessive.
What say you rabble please
Cheers

Take the tyre and use two spokes and your calipers to measure the wall thickness of the rim. If it less than 0.9mm worry.http://www.thecycleclinic.co.uk -wheel building and other stuff.0

Thanks for that.
After much faffing I have established rim thickness to be 1.555 mm at it's thickest point. In the centre of the concave wear section thickness is reduced to 1.30 mm meaning the rim has lost 0.25mm overall.
Using a slightly different method to measure with the depth gauge on the vernier spanning the rim and measuring into the lowest point of the concave wear I get a figure of 0.15.
Erring on the side of caution and using the 0.25 figure rim wall thickness is 1.30 mm which is some way off of 0.9 mm.
Thanks once again.
