£1500 to spend. Bike needed for Rocky techy trails and all day riding and epic rides/tours

But the Giant has a Shimano Integrated Press Fit BB. Is this an issue???
Or do you know of a better bike for £1500

Both are very competant bikes. The uspension is a little different - the Maestro system has less bob, but a little more pedal feedback, while the Canyon will feel more active. Just preference really, both do a good job overall.
Spec wise there is little in it, but the Canyon is just infront. The fork is superior as the Float RL has little adjustment, the wheels are a touch lighter and the crankset being XT is on paper, ahead.
Very close to call on paper.0 -
Bit more travel front and rear with the giant, slightly better spec with the canyon.
Loads of satisfied customers for both bikes. You won't go wrong with either one0 -
Hi guys thanks for the advice, How does this hold up against the other 2

I'm sure the Canyon is very good and it is better specced but I would go for the Trance. I owned one for a couple years and they ride extremely well. Climbs great and for a short travel XC bike they respond extremely well to very hard riding. Indestructible frame as well.Transition Patrol - viewtopic.php?f=10017&t=130702350
