I've just got a CycleOps mag turbo
My rear tyre was already 70% worn but after a session on the turbo it looks dead! What a good turbo trainner tyre that will last ages?

I just bought myself a couple of these.
For this price I don't really care if they get a bit worn too quickly

I've used normal tyres for up to 1 hour sessions and they were fine. Is your tension too much or your roller abrasive ?0

I keep my old worn out tyres that are no longer fit for the road and then use them on the turboNorfolk, who nicked all the hills?

Any tyre you have lying around will suffice but they do wear much more quickly than turbo specific ones. Just keep checking them.
FWIW - I use the Conti Hometrainer tyre and it's been great. Though, i'm sure they're all much of a muchness. Just get the cheapest one you can find if you really want to go turbo specific.“Training is like fighting with a gorilla. You don’t stop when you’re tired. You stop when the gorilla is tired.”0
