Ok - after some great advice off here from you guys, I'm about to push the button on an order for some MArzocchi Marathon LR Forks from CRC. however, they have both 2011 and 2012 models - with over £35 difference in price and i can't find any difference in specs. Does anyone know if there are any differences between the fork years?

yeah that's what i thought - apart from the different transfers!

Althought looking again on Marzocchi's website i did notice a small but significant difference - the 2012 models are only classified as XC forks, but the 2011 models are classified as AM and XC forks - which seems to suggest they may be slightly more resilient...well either that or they were more cautious in 2012 than 2011... :)
