Bike is in great shape but I think $480 is way too much.
What do you guys think ??
It's got the old style shifters , mounted on the tube.

    That would go for between £50 and £150 on Ebay UK.

    EUR150 ~ CA$210 .. that's what I was thinking too...
    The owner got very offended when I asked if he would take CA$200 though !!! :D
    The additional $280 is the sentimental value... what to do ?! :D

    Reply back in a few days apologising for offending him but explaining with examples that the market value is much lower than what he's asking. Tell him you really like his bike and would like to get to a price you're both happy with. Give him the chance to adjust his expectations down and see if he can let the sentimental value go.
