Hi there,
I was wondering what the consensus was on the best cheap air fork? Suntour Radion or something? I'm thinking of helping my girlfriend out who has a 6kg (probably) leaden coil fork at the moment.... :-)
Don't really want to spend over £150 if poss
Thanks for all your help in advance - I appreciate it!

Good price for the marathons, are they on a par with these below or is it worth paying the extra for the rockshox , sorry for jumping in but im after a cheapish pair of forks at min too.

I'd have the Marathon over the Recon Silver - if they were the same price it would be a close call.
But this is the best if you are considering spending that money:

I have the raidons at the moment and after a years abuse they arent well, the bushes have gone, ok forks though but trouble getting parts which is why i was initially looking at rockshox but looking at the price for the marzocchi , the decent reviews and the 3 year guarantee they seem a no brainer. The family that rides together stays together !

Yeah. I had a set of Raidons. Utter rubbish (sent em back a couple of days after getting them). The higher end Axxons where much better but clicked on every return. The Epicons (got three) have been fantastic. Very light and responsive.
Always amazes me how three different forks from the same manufacturer can be so different when you'd imagine they'd share components.0 -
I've been looking at a front fork upgrade and have seen rock shox reba solo air fork for around 274 pound.
This seems too cheap to me to be retail version and I'm wondering if there is an oem reba fork doing the rounds at bike shops with cheaper internals ?
also is pop loc remote on the bars worth the extra ?0 -
So ask them and not in my opinion.I don't do smileys.
