FS or HT for guiding work

Hi all
I'm doing some guiding this year
(booked on the highland c2c, fort William c2c, c2c north England, Wales c2c) My usual bike is a HT but wondering if a FS would be better. Looking at the boardman team fs or would I be better spending a grand on a HT like the boardman Pro or Pro carbon????
