Had my head turned by the new Planet X RT58. Geo seems up my street, like the stealth look, seems like a good bike for not too much cash. Problem is there's little info or opinions I can find online, anyone have any views or factoids to share?

Also, I've only ever had Shimano, how does Force compare to 105?

  • I got an email about these the other day. Can't comment on the bike other than the looks, which are great IMO.

Yup, I thought it looked good too. 1500 sniffs with SRAM Force, not bad at all.
Have to say I'm still waiting to hear about their new Ti Sportive though, told me back in November they'd be out after Xmas but perhaps they're having a few issues getting them in? Made by Van Nicholas rather than Lynksey this time but the price could be a steal....the Ti pro frame is in stock but not the Sportive which should have geometry closer to the RT58

Guessing there's no real info out there yet. Or maybe not much interest because they've used the dreaded S word in the marketing (Sportive)!

995g frame weight is on the 56cm apparently.

Saw the 995g frame weight, but presumed that would be for one of the smaller sizes. It's the 52 that weighs 7.2kg.
