Hi all, I picked up a pair of ROck Shox revelation 409 a few years ago and have finally put them on a bike and i pulled the remote lockout lever, which worked then when i hit the pop lock button to release the cable did but the fork remain locked out. I compressed them a few times then the right leg went pop and oil went everywhere, i then heard a slight hissing coming from the left leg and I thing the air started leaking. Couldn't believe it seems like seals have gone on bth sides, So my question anyone know if these forks had a call back for dodgy seals, where can i find this out and where can I get them fixed.
Thanks all

If they have not been used for so long then the seals sound like they have perished.

Full service and seal change would be about £80-£100.
Kits are available on ebay though.0 -
DIY service is simple. Have a read of the SRAM service manual for the fork.Transition Patrol - viewtopic.php?f=10017&t=130702350
