Hi all, I have the following specs
Rims: Reparto Corse Versus
Front Hub: Fac Michelin Racing
Rear Hub: Fac Michelin Racing
Spokes: Inox 2mm
Now this will become my winter bike after feb 2014 but is it worth spending max 250 on a new wheel set to see me till then, few big sportives this year.will it make a difference. Any suggestions, campag 10speed
Cheers

Probably not worth upgrading. Just run them into the ground and replace when worn out. Save your money for the new bike purchase.0

You have the perfect wet weather wheels, why change.
If you want new lighter wheels. Velocity A23 front rim, velocity A23 off centre rim rear on Miche hubs laced with Sapim Double butted spokes like the Lasers or Race spokes depending on your weight. Spoke count of 28 on the front and 32 on the rear work well for most. If you are very light less spokes could be used but if you are 100+kg pls a 36 spoke rear wheel and a 32 spoke front would be good. Miche hubs come with campagnolo 9/10/11 speed hubs.
Your current wheels are fine though.http://www.thecycleclinic.co.uk -wheel building and other stuff.0
