I need a 30.9mm inline seatpost -> any objections to this one: http://www.parker-international.co.uk/16130/Outland-Carbon-Inline-Seatpost.html
My main concern is it not bouncing since my bike has a compact frame, and quite a bit of post showing. Which can be a problem with the current Giant carbon post -> especially since I raised it 1.5cm for my new saddle.

It looks shit. A bonded head might fall off. Does it have to be carbon?
If you want a stiff post, get a 2nd hand Thomson.0 -

Is this known to happen? I have a carbon post with a bonded head - came as standard on my Ribble. It did a good 5 thousand miles quite happily before Ribble misplaced it in a frame swap and had to give me a new one.
If I was worried about metal bonded to carbon failing, I think I'd be more paranoid about my dropouts....Faster than a tent.......0 -
+1 s/hand ThomsonFacts are meaningless, you can use facts to prove anything that's remotely true! - Homer0

Not sure if they make one in the diameter your need, but how about a Deda Drittissimo?2012 Bottecchia Super 8Avio 105

Why not use a 27.2mm post and a shim? You'll get plenty of choice too.Make mine an Italian, with Campagnolo on the side..0
