Used vs New bike spec

Hi guys,
Been a lurker for a long time but first post and I'm looking for advice. I sold my hybrid and going to buy my first road bike. I've a choice of either a used Lapierre AUDACIO 400 or a nearly new Trek 1.1. Links to the bikes below.
I only use it for commuting (30k per day) but I was wondering what others would think is best?

Why limit yourself to choosing between two bikes? I'd suggest refining a search on fleabay and monitoring it for a couple of weeks to see just what opportunities can present themselves. A little bit of patience can be greatly rewarded....
