Frame Sizing (Van Nic Euros)

Hello wondered if anyone could give me some advice on a Van Nic frame Euros frame. I have seen Planet X are selling them for £499.99 but only have 50cm frames. I am a short arse of 5ft 4" with a 29" inside leg and currently ride a 52cm specialized Secteur Sport which fits nice.
Looking on the Van Nicholas site I have put my measurements in and it is coming up as recommending a 52cm frame. Could I compensate by buying a longer stem?
Any helpful comments would be much appreciated.

    Top tube is 17mm shorter, but seat tube is 1º steeper, maybe worth a punt with a slightly longer stem.

    I've a 54 van nich, and honestly reckon the 50 would be too small. I've got toeverlap and it'll probably be worse on the smaller frame

    I'll bet most bikes ridden on here of riders 6' or less have toe-overlap to one degree or another, can't say it's ever been an issue for me, YMMV.
