Ive got a 2003 m5 stumpjumper and I want to go to v brakes (bit of a retro thing) the frame has guides for hoses and I cant work out how to run the cables as the hose guides wont hold the cable :?

Hmm.... Pictures could help? But if you really want to you can cable tie the wires to the frame in certain places (obviously not too tightly)

You can't. You need cable stops or full outers.
