Carbon re-sealing braking surface

Hi all,
I was wondering if it was possible to reseal the braking area on my carbon rims? I got caught out in some pretty foul weather (started lovely)!!, i ended up riding over some very damaged roads, with extremely dirty road sufaces and its seemed to have rubbed the braking rims protecive covering off slightly
I do use the correct brake blocks for the rims.
Any remedies could and would save me a small fortune, all this was caused by builders not washing the roads down after work!

No point, the brake track is sacrificial and putting some lacquer on there will make braking worse, before it wears-off (again)Make mine an Italian, with Campagnolo on the side..0

^^^ this
just wash any residual dirt off the rims and make sure the pads aren't still contaminated with grit/whatevermy bike - faster than god's and twice as shiny0 -
As above, you should only have bare carbon on the brake track - there should not have been any clear coat on there. CFRP brake pads are made to run on the carbon surface.0
