Hi,

I would really appreciate some help. I am completley brand new to road bikes and am looking to buy a new bike. I'm not sure whether to buy a brand new Python RX1 for roughly £450 or £200 is on a second hand Carrera? I think an Allez is just above my budget.

The thing that is putting me off the python is there is very little on the bike online interms of reviews etc?? Not sure if that is a risk worth taking?

Any help is much appreciated!

cheers
S

You'd probably be better looking at bikes from Decathlon for that kind of money - Triban 5 for £500 has a better spec
Make mine an Italian, with Campagnolo on the side..

    IMO ignore the Pyhton.

Btwin from Decathalon, Carrera from Halfords or 2nd hand brand names will probably all provide you a better bet.

I might look at 2nd hand or maybe spend 100 quid more & get this: http://www.planet-x-bikes.co.uk/i/q/FBB ... _bike_2012
