Have not seen this Giant Propel before. Not that I can afford.

I suppose if you think road-going Subaru Imprezas plastered with sponsor logos look good then yes, it looks amazing.

I guess it's because I didn't recall seeing a Giant aero bike in the catalog before. Cervelo S5 is still the most beautiful aero bike.

    The S5 is hideous.

My lbs isn't stocking the propel in protest at it being red or something similar.

This propel is hideous, they wanted an aero model and they come up with this. Marketing BS.

And yes, the S5 is also hideous.

That's why the world is such a wonderful place, people love different things.
Is it the plastered writing over the bike that people dislike or the design itself ?

That Giant is a stunning bike. You need to get over yourself.

Is it a Giant? I didn't notice - their graphics are too subtle. I suggest they make them bigger and bolder.

Never liked any frame that moves away from the "classic" 2 triangle design. The seat stays are way to low. It looks weird to me. MY opinion.

We are all different I guess. Is a bit like the way some people like fat girls. Not great looking but may still be a fantastic ride.

As a giant owner I can honestly say that bike in those colours is cack.Bike itself looks good though.

IIRC a limited number will be available this year so that Giant can gauge interest and possibly do a full on release in 2014 if it proves popular.

Would look much better with the stealth treatment IMO

And as another Giant owner, I totally agree.
    Is the gorilla tired yet?

Apart from that its OK. Except the gimmicky Aero qualities. Wheels look shite as well.

It looks hideous. It might be fast, but it's uglier than Ann Widdecombe and Gollum's secret love child.

  • Hmmm, mixed views on the paint job. What about the bike in a less WRC colour scheme? No doubt too plain now :)

Ditch the white saddle and tape and give the frame a few subtle logos, the wheels are still an issue due to the large logo and alloy rims, but we are starting to get there.

And, personally, I don't go for frames that look like they were made from an Origami pattern even if they are lugged!

I prefer the blue black scheme which shows a bit of logo. It is like revealing a bit of bra strap to get imagination going.

All black is like a black gown, nothing to imagine.
