Replacing stock wheels - Mavic CXP22 rims

I have an entry level sportive bike which I bought 18 months ago and have covered over 5000 miles on it.
I'm now looking to upgrade the wheels on it (currently mavic cxp22 rims with no-name hubs and spokes), mostly because I find the ride too harsh. But saving some weight and improving acceleration would also be a bonus.
I would like the wheels to outlast the frame and the rest of my current bike. How much should I budget to get a useful upgrade on what I already have?

Not such a good deal... They are 3 years old, spares wise you are on your own... I would not botherleft the forum March 20230 -
You're not going to get a significant change in radial stiffness by changing your wheels. If the ride's too harsh then you're better off looking at running wider tyres at a lower pressure.- - - - - - - - - -
