Giant Defy 1 (2013) Mud Guards

Looking for recommendations on what guards to put on my new Defy 1 - has anyone on here done it?
Also wondering if Conti GP4000s 25mm tyres will be ok (clearance) with Giant's own guards?

    I don't have my Defy (yet) so can't comment, but it's on the way!

    Head over to the general commuters forum - there's a couple of threads over there that cover this, including a 'defy for commuting' one on the first page :)

    the sks raceblade XLs will definately fit, they mount off the rear stays and front forks and don't sit under the fork or the rear break

    on my humble triban 3 fitting 25mm tyres would not allow sks chromoplastic p35's to fit so would imagine the giant defy will not accommodate 25mm tyres and mudguards... only a guess though.

    I think Giant's own guards are okay with 25s. Probably best to ring a friendly Giant dealer or Giant themselves.

    Yep, 25c tyres are fine. I'd keep with the defy specific guards, they're great.
