I just got one of these, really cheap, folds up small, rear wheel lifted off of the floor so you can spin the cranks/change gear etc for cleaning, fine if you just want basic for cleaning etc.....

Got a similar "no brand" version of this & is basic but pretty good & folds flat for taking in the car if off to races.Pain hurts much less if its topped off with beating your mates to top of a climb.0 -
I got this last year:

Works like a charm and just as you are, I searched the same subject on here and found lots of recommendations for it.
I think Ribble have 10% off everything at the mo which is also a bonus.

This wall mount version works well
http://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B005GA7SQS/r ... wo=&hvqmt=
It comes with 2 brackets to fix on the wall or a post so I use one for washing outside and the other under cover.
No complaints and is sturdy for all jobs.0 -

Check out the thread here, I think the stand being used is very similar, it's what made me look for one when I got mine....

How does it fit to the stand, are there adjustments or does it just drop into place?Wanted: Cube Streamer/Agree GTC Compact / Pro/ Race : 53cm0 -

Yes, so easy, Just lift up your back wheel and pop it onto your quick release skewer, Simple, but so effective for working on your drivetrain, maintenance or just cleaning your bike.
Every bike owner should have one.0 -
If you can wait for the next Lidl Cycle special their workstands are brill for about £300

I know, I'm not likely to be buying one of those any time soon!!
One side of the quick release goes inside the clamp on the stand (a bit like putting a bike into a turbo) and the other side drops into the top."Arran, you are like the Tony Benn of smut. You have never diluted your depravity and always stand by your beliefs. You have my respect sir and your wife my pity"

+1 for the proper ribble work stand, works a treat and saves your back when cleaning and working on the drivetrain.
It's sold by lots of others with different label on including Raleigh and x tools (chain reaction).0 -

I've had that one for a couple of years with no problems at all. Responses on these threads are usually split evenly between that one and park tools ones costing hundreds. Try doing a search for more answers."Unfortunately these days a lot of people don’t understand the real quality of a bike" Ernesto Colnago0
