Salvageable wheel parts for rebuild?

So after hitting 1 too many gaping winter potholes and taking a rather slapdash approach to re-truing, my rear wheel although laterally true, is radially, more like an egg shape, and its out by a considerable amount. I have had a quick feel of the spokes and it doesn't feel that any are crazily tight (at least not in the area where it is 'un-round'). It now feels like I am rolling over speed bumps. Genuinely.
I was wondering if it was possible to get the wheel re-built with the same parts (as I am on a tight budget) or am I looking at all new parts?
I currently have Ultegra 6500 hubs and Kronos Vuelta rims. I don't know anything about spokes, but there are 32. Front still runs like a peach.
Any help appreciated.

if you get a new rim that has the same ERD then yes the hub and spokes can be re used. If the ERD is not the same then new spokes are normally needed."Do not follow where the path may lead, Go instead where there is no path, and Leave a Trail."

^^correct. Having said that, if the nipples are at all corroded then unbuilding the wheel may be a bit of a pain. If you're thinking of doing it I'd dribble some oil over them now to ohelp free things up.0

You live quite close, why don't you jump on a train to Richmond and bring the wheels here so we can have a look? I am sure it can be fixed for very little money (if any)
