This arrived for me at work today, all very exciting! Kind of accidently won it on ebay in that I bid the max I wanted to pay, then thought nothing of it until I got a notification that I had won! It is in almost pristine condition, with a new headest, posted, all for a bargain £152.
I just need to order a chain and grips then I have everything so will probably start putting everything together on Sunday.

Nice result there! Does make me wonder why steel frames are not more popular as my Pace RC104 (also in 853 steel) rides like a dream.
Good luck building it up.0 -
Lovely frame!
Would be my choice of LT HT I think... bargain you got there!
Also a fan of the 8530 -
A change of plan, and thus going 1x9, has led to a bit of a delay and still waiting on a few bits. When it is all together and tested I'll get the steerer chopped down.
Currently has Marzocchi 55rs at 140mm, Superstar am 490 on switch hubs, Spank spoon 40mm stem, Atherton pro bars at 740mm, Superstar Excel grips, Nukeproof warhead seatpost with Charge spoon. Brakes are Elixer 5's, Deore rear mech, slx shifter for the rear. Ordered an FSA 38t ring for the front so need to look at something to keep the chain secure.

I would love one of them but they don't make them big enough.Transition Patrol - viewtopic.php?f=10017&t=130702350

Might just be the way it is meant against the wall!
This is the larger size 18" with 23"ish top tube so wouldn't be too comfy on it if I was much bigger than my 5' 10".0
