V brakes on a drop bar bike

I have a set of Tektro RL520 levers on my single speed. These apparently work with V brakes. Does anyone know if I can use Shimano Acera BR-M422 V brakes or do I need specific mini-V's.

Standard V-brakes like the Acera will work (I use Deore M590 V-brakes with RL520 levers and Tristop pads on my Surly LHT), I recommend fitting adjustable noodles for brake adjustment as well.
