Diameter of brake caliper fixing bolt

w.r.t. fitting front brake calipers.

The sleeve (nut) which passes through the fork to secure the caliper is too large in diameter, i.e. it will not pass through the bore in the fork.
I assumed they would standard, obviously not.
I have seen a remedy for steel forks, which is to redrill, but that would not be an option for carbon fibre composite forks.
Any ideas on different sizings and availability of the fixing sleeve - Campagnolo fit?

If new forks, likely to be lacquer / paint build-up on the fork as bolts are standard size. Use a regular drill bit as a hand-reamer to clean-off and the nut should slide into place.
Make mine an Italian, with Campagnolo on the side..
