Single Speed Conversion - What Frame?

As title, I would like to make a single speed bike. Is there anything in particular I need to look for when selecting a frame? Anything to avoid etc.
I have an old Peugeot mtb frame but don't know if this would work

Easiest is to use one of the converter kits from the likes of Superstar or Charlie the Bike Monger.Make mine an Italian, with Campagnolo on the side..0
