As titled. Looking to buy pedals as my last parts to add to my bike build. Are they as good as they say? Should I go for the 9000's? Or look at other models (I need shimano as hack bike has them)

I have the R540 (entry level) and Ultegra and other than the metal plate I can tell no difference in their operation/feel.

Shimano use the same clip system and bearings in all their SPD-SL pedals so just get the ones that best fit your budget.

Edit: Some 105's in the classifieds for £20 - they will do.
    Yellow is the new Black.
