Have ordered my first bib 3/4 and shorts and warmers from wiggle
Dhb roubaix
All intention to return one of them but can't decide which ones
I'm thinking 3/4 are nice as knee protection covering from elements
But the shorts I could use them in warmer conditions without the leg warmers
They both fit fine and comfy enough
Which would you pick

Must not do the latter lol
The roubaix fleecy inside should be nice and cosy
Will have to get some summer ones when it comes
Yes, Roubaix will be too warm when it gets into double figure temps.Yellow is the new Black.0 -
Been rocking the roubaix 3/4 down from -5 to 8 degrees, great bit of it.0

Bib shorts and knee warmers for me.Summer - Canyon Ultimate CF SLX 9.0 Team
Winter - Trek Madone 3.5 2012 with UDi2 upgrade.

Bib shorts + knee warmers.
Less girly (imo). More versatile and you can mix up the colours ;-)
Would get some some bib tights though. Less of a faff than bib shorts + leg warmers.0 -
Doh
Never thought of knee warmers
Think ill keep the shorts and leg warmers though
Do any of you wear knee warmers of any kind in the summer?Wanted: Cube Streamer/Agree GTC Compact / Pro/ Race : 53cm0 -

Bib shorts and warmers for me, but my legs are so short, the leg warmers are so far up my thighs, it's almost like a second layer :roll:All the gear, but no idea...0

bib shorts + knee warmers and leg warmers , I would suggest get some good bib shorts , a combo of either the knee or leg warmers does 3/4 of the year for me if not more until the longs come out when really cold.
All subjective though depending on whether you run a bit hot or cold !!
Not a big fan of the 3/4 although EPO does look good in them !Enigma Esprit Di2 - Go tI ! Summer !0 -
I used to switch to 3/4 then tights for winter but this time around I'm staying with shorts + leg warmers (either normal lycra DHB's or Castelli nanoflex depending on the weather). So far it's working fine and I wonder why I bothered spending money on half a dozen pairs of tights. Main reason I switched was I always found it awkward getting tights with the right fit and you pay a fortune for ones with a decent pad it in. Sticking with shorts + warmers means you get the fit/comfort of your shorts and most of the warmth of tights, probably cheaper to replace in the event of a crash to.0
