Combination of Polar HRM & Garmin Edge 500

Hi,

I currently have a Polar FT2 HRM watch which I use, but currently debating upgrading my computer to a Garmin Edge 500. Does anyone know if the Polar HRM is compatible with the Edge 500?

    nope, different wireless bandwidth

    Garmin works on ANT+ there are loads of HRM out there. Decathlon might have some cheap ones
