Not a big enough upgrade to justify the money spent.

    No, not worth the upgrade.
I am a fairly fit cyclist, I just upgraded from a trek 1.2 2011 to a Giant TCR composite 3.
The trek feels just as good as the giant to ride, if not better during climbing, feels stiffer. For me though the giant is a size up from the trek and fits me much better which made it worthwhile.

Unless I had £3000 to spend I would never upgrade again or just stick to around £900 for a new bike.

Here's a link to the Fuji Roubaix at Evans for £1100

The Trek 1.2 had Shimano Sora groupset to my knowledge. Why pay £1100 just to upgrade to Tiagra 10 speed? The likelihood is that the frameset on the Fuji and the stock wheels offer you nothing over what you have with the Trek.

Somebody was selling a Tiagra 10 speed groupset on here for about £160 the other week and whilst I appreciate that you are not based in the UK, that's what I would look to do if I was 'upgrading' the Trek ie. look out for a secondhand VGC groupset - say 105 5600 for about £200 and then remove & sell the Sora - decent upgrade for possible £100, then buy some better wheels for say £250-£300 and for £400 you'll have a better bike than the Fuji at less than half the price.

Oh, but why FUJI is expensive like that ?

    Thanks

No idea - it's a new bike at the end of the day, but you are the one thinking of buying it not me!

A lot of it is all about marketing and what people are prepared to pay.
Bikes are overpriced, someone is making lots of money from us.

    Thanks
