Saw these with a big knock off price on crc. got one bad review that has knocked the rating down but i was wondering what they're like and whether or not this guy just got unlucky etc. Anyone had an experience with these and would recommend/argue against purchasing them.

    I got a set with a second hand frame I bought. For £30 I would give them a punt. I have had to cut some off the bolts for the risers because they were bottoming out and not tightening enough but in general they do the job. As for scratching the bars, pretty much all clips will, I use helicopter tape to limit this. In summary, if you want to try clips ons give them a go at that price, if you don't like them flea bay it is.
