Am looking to replace the chainrings on my Shimano FC-R600 compact crankset.
These items appear to be out of production now and I can't find replacements in black. Can anyone advise if the more current (and readily available) 5600 or 5700 chainrings would fit my crank? They are all 110 Bolt Circle Diameter but I had wondered if there was some minor cosmetic or design difference that might render them useless to me.
I have checked the Shimano Drivetrain Compatibility Chart but it does not give specific compatibility information on the components of their various drivetrain parts.
Any help or suggestions would be appreciated.

I've a pair of those very chainrings spare, used but not that much. Can send you pics if you wish?
  • Sure thing. Did you replace the chainrings on your own R600 crankset? What did you get to fit?

Have pm'd you pics. Can't remember for sure but seem to remember I just sold the cranks on their own for some reason - think the guy just wanted them on their own.
