Confusion about Garmin units.

Hi guys,
I am looking for a Garmin (or maybe another GPS device) that will allow me to create a route on the computer at home, download it to the GPS unit and use it to reach my destination. I would also like it to be able to sync with a cadence sensor and heart rate monitor.
I am getting confused though between all the different units available.
Max spend on a unit is £200. Possibly more if its justifiable. At the moment I use a Cateye VC wireless which I really like. http://www.evanscycles.com/products/cat ... r-ec023342
But I want to start riding futher and to monitor my training/riding more closely.
Any help would be grately appreciated.

do you want to be able to see an actual map on the screen, or just a follow a bread-crumb trail?
If its the former you need a (s/hand) 800 if its the latter then you could get a new 500 (just, probably)Facts are meaningless, you can use facts to prove anything that's remotely true! - Homer0 -
£200 will get you a Garmin Edge 500 with cadence sensor and HRM - all the data you'll ever need.Cannondale CAAD 10 Ultegra
