Hi all,

Looking for a new bike to ride on the hills local to me (Quantocks).
With feedback i have had from friends and what i have read it seems that this is a good route to take.

I am willing to buy second hand, although with 29er's being fairly new there isn't a huge second hand market.

I am very open minded when it comes to brand, but am looking for great value for money.
Willing to spend upto £1000 but could go a little bit more if from a dealer and they offer 0% finance.

I look forward to hearing your suggestions

Rich

I'm having the same dilemma. There is one or two Trek superfly 29er's near me on ebay but the Canyon AL 7.9 at just over a grand new is looking really appealing, go check it out.

The Canyon is very nice and has nice bits on it. But it's alu. The Inbred has £200 of upgrades to go onto it to get to the same RRP and would be steel loveliness. IMO!! ;)

Frankly the rear stays on the Inbred are Fugly......
