Cannondale Synapse Carbon 6 w/ Apex

Anyone out there riding a '12 Synapse CB6 w/ Apex. Strongly inclined to purchase; LBS $1500.00
Not looking for anything too aggressive and do like Cannondale. Pretty decent close out price, no?

The Synapse with the Shimano 105 groupset also has better wheels(Mavic Aksium v Shimano RS10) and a higher spec chainset(FSA Gossamer v Omega).
I think the Synapse is worthy of the upgrade if you can find a good deal.
