Dear All
On my Felt Ar4 it came with shimano r30 wheelset but I have found the shimano dura ace 7900 C35 carbon wheelset for a good price in a sale for £750.00, I'm new to this forum and looked long and hard for my first road bike and now looking to upgrade the wheels. I wanted to know what benefits upgrding the wheels would make, and also would this wheel set be a worthwhile upgrade to enjoy my cycling experiance and also improve my riding times.
Any informative reply with be appreciated.

You don't get a reply as recently the wheel upgrade topic has been done to death... just search other threads and go through them.
Personally I think your budget is inconsiderate... that is an awful lot of money for a set of recreational wheels...left the forum March 20230 -
In my opinion for general riding there are better / cheaper / lighter options. £750 is a lot of money for a wheelset, and with those wheels you are buying something which to be honest a Dura-Ace hub with what looks like a carbon faring on an alloy rim, I can't believe they retail for £1300 I think effectively you are paying for the 'Dura-Ace' logos to pimp your bike.
Mavic Ksyrium-Elites are a good all round wheel, same weight as the Dura-Ace's, more traditional bombproof construction and can be had for around £450. I've got some 8 year old Ksyrium, and they still look great and ride perfectly.
If you want a semi-aero rim these Easton EA90 wheels are of a similar style and weight to the Shimano ones for £490

If you would like some Aero wheels look at some top quality hand builts from a guy like this. http://www.wheelsmith.co.uk/road-wheels-prices . Some IRD Aero rims built with Dura-Ace hubs will set you back about £540, and will be much more serviceable than factory wheels.
Basically even at sale price those Shimano wheels are not good value.0 -

Not sure you're correct on the look like carbon fairing point. Pretty sure the carbon rim is structural. Besides they are highly rated and its rare to see them at that priceMy blog: http://www.roubaixcycling.cc (kit reviews and other musings)
