Brecon Trails
I've been tasked with researching some decent MTB trails for a boys weekend away in a couple of weeks. We're staying in Pandy to the east of Brecon (here). I'm very familiar with Afan and Cwmcarn which are doable from there but would prefer somewhere much nearer and to see some new stuff which I understand the Brecons boasts plenty of.
Suggestions of routes for a mixed ability group would be very much appreciated.
If you could also arrange beautiful weather and dry trails that would be even better but that may be pushing it a bit :P
Cheers!

there's loads of riding around there, you just have to know where to look maybe ask at the lbs?

Good man, thanks!
I'd seen a few routes on the mtbbreconbeacons site but wasn't too sure what to expect. Those you've highlighted look like some good options. Good shout on the LBS too, that's a key bit of info I always forget to locate, especially as it's always my bike that breaks!0 -
i'm only about 25/30 mins from pandy, but i've never really ridden up that way. too much on my doorstep
have fun though0 -
Crickhowell loop is alright for a quick blast but no technical downhills or anything, crickhowell itself is a nice village stayed there 2 years ago. Gap is good fun and round that lake, some good riding around the black mountains too.0
