First Milestone

Well I managed to get my first milestone ride today, rode roughly 32 miles http://app.strava.com/activities/34715981. It wasn't all plan sailing though as I managed to get lost twice even though I planned my route on bike hike(those country roads all look the same) and top it of my old Garmin 305 decided it wasn't going to work properly. All in all I'm chuffed with the ride!

well done - getting lost or as I tell the other half "taking the scenic route" is half the fun of being out on the bike. Plus it helps you learn where some of your local roads link into other rides you have done.Pain hurts much less if its topped off with beating your mates to top of a climb.0

Went out on a ride today with mountainmonster and knocked out 65km so I'm thinking 80km by the end of Jan is looking pretty realistic.2013 Eddy Merckx Amx-1

Good going mate. I got my bike end of October.
I did my first 50 miles on New Years Day. 55 miles today. I'm going to try an up the mileage each week by 5-10 miles.
I'm aiming to be able to do the London to Brighton and then cycle home. It's about 100 miles in June.
Keep setting goals, I'm doing some sportives this year. My goal is 10.0
