I've just been sent an SR-1 chain whip instead of an SR-11 which I was buying for my 11-speed cassettes. I'm going to send it back, but before I do has anyone used the SR-1 on an 11-speed cassette and did it work?

I can't speak for the Park SR-1 but the Park SR-11 is a vast improvement over the old BBB chain whip I was using previously on 11 speed cassettes.....

if the chain seats on the sprocket ok it'll workmy bike - faster than god's and twice as shiny0

I changed the chain on my SR-1 when I went to 10spd.
A nice section of KMC X10 SL now adorns it.Facts are meaningless, you can use facts to prove anything that's remotely true! - Homer0 -
Pedro's Vice Whip, far more secure than a chain whip and fits 11 speed.
Once used you will never go back to a chain whipCoach H. (Dont ask me for training advice - 'It's not about the bike')0 -
+1 - Pedros vise whip for me the last three years, fantastic tool. chain whips are dreadful things imo.0

send it back - save up a few pennies and get that lovely Lezyne one - you know you want to (and yes it is fine on 11 speed)http://veloviewer.com/SigImage.php?a=3370a&r=3&c=5&u=M&g=p&f=abcdefghij&z=a.png
