After spending many many years on MTBs, it's about time to pull the trigger on a proper road bike. I'm currently riding an old MTB converted for road use. It's served me ok, and Strava tells me I do an ok job of keeping up with proper road bikes for the most part. I'm not trying to kid myself that it's fit for purpose though, and as I now find road riding becoming my first choice, I want a proper roadie.
I've seen this one which I very much like the look of, but I don't really know that much about things on this side of the fence. As a certified fatty and all-year-round rider, I like the idea of having disc brakes, and I'm willing to accept the weight penalty for that.
I want to know about the geometry of that bike though. It *seems* to stack up to just be a proper road bike, and specced accordingly, just with disk brakes fitted (and a compatible wheelset). Am I reading that right, or does it have a bit more of a CX bike about it?
At the moment, I'm a bit torn between this, and a Kuota Kharma, which if I'm perfectly honest, I chose purely on aesthetics.
