What makes a better wheel?

With a little of my Xmas money I would like to buy a new wheel set, but looking on ribbles site, there are lots to choose from for under 150. Are any of these better than the reparto corse versus hats on he bike at the mo for instance

I'd save your money and buy a better wheelset, that way you'll notice a difference. These two sets are standard or very close to standard on all the ribble bikes.

I can't think of a worse wheelset than one with 20/24 spokes that weighs 2 Kg... really, either keep saving, or spend the money in the pub, both options are better than the Rodi.
I routinely build sets around 200 pounds mark with 32 spokes front and rear which are lighter than those

Save your money for something better - they're both pretty heavy. Aim for something lighter than 1500g/pair and you'll notice a perceptible difference in how they'll feel.

Thanks for advice, think u will stick to pan a, keep bianchi as winter bike, and great myself to something a bit special in the summer
