I have fitted some zero gravity brakes and using jagwire cables but the problem i am having is that the ferrules on the cables wont fit into the adjuster on the brake and so it just sits on top. Does anyone have any ideas what to do? Can i use the cables without ferrule ends as i think it may fit in then. Thanks

What model do you have? Mine fit in fine.

If you are struggling it might be worth getting campag ultra shift cables as these don't use ferrules.

  • Strange? Its the Zero G model. I have just tried the ferrules supplied in the Jagwire kit that have the word POP on them. Can these be used in the brake barrels? They are too small and are not a snug fit but at least they reach the bottom on the barrel adjuster.

You are supposed to use the pop ones, they aren't supposed to be a snug fit and you should just have them nestling with the end of the ferrule only just inside the barrel adjuster not all the way in!

All the instructions are on the Ciamillo website...
