MAX Flite Gel Flow vs Flite Gel Flow saddle

I see both these saddles are available, are similar in price but only the MAX Flite Gel Flow is on the Selle Italia web site. Therefore I wonder if the Flite Gel Flow is being discontinuted. Reason for asking is that my Flite Gel Flow saddle is faulty and I was sent a MAX Flite Gel Flow as a replacement and the saddle has a different fit. The shop is ordering a Flite Gel Flow as well (there's much less of these showing in stock at the distributor) but wonder if any one has bought a MAX Flite Gel Flow saddle and has experience of this saddle?

Or anyone can shed light on the change in saddle design?

I used to have a MAX Flite Gel Flow saddle and as far as I can remeber it was a great saddle, I think it's just a slightly more padded and supposedly more comfortable version.

I think you'll find the Max Flite is wider at 146mm.

The max is 143mm wide, the normal flite is 130mm. I have the normal flite, very happy with it and wouldn't swap it for anything. Great seat either way, but you'd need to know which fits you best.

Thanks for replies folks, good to know that the MAX is a wider saddle as I previously didn't get on with a wider saddle. Haven't had a chance to try it out yet thought.
