Campag Chorus Headset
I've just received the TT frame I bought second hand- as advertised it needs a new headset. However, it does currently have the cups and crown of a campy chorus 1" headset- i was wondering if they could be of any use?
Or am I going to need a whole new headset (and the mechanic fees this incurs...)?

I should add, it's threadless.0

Depends how much is missing... looks like you need top and bottom bearings the top race and a top nut for 1"... all compatible with your Chrous...
On balance a new one might turn out cheaper. I can vouch for the quality of Record thread less ones... fantastic headsetsleft the forum March 20230 -
Okay, that's what I expected. Do I have to look out for anything in particular when hunting down a new headset? Will any 1" threadless be okay? This for example: http://www.ribblecycles.co.uk/sp/road-t ... anehstr200 ?
I can't really fund a Record one...0 -

Yes, any will do... Not many on the market... 46 pounds for a Record... It is a good price for an item that last for many years. Get a cheaper one and you are back shopping next yearleft the forum March 20230
