Moldable shoes

Will be buying some new shoes come the new year, and looking for lots of comfort, so was thinking about some of the heat moldable ones, for example the bont vapours have been getting great review, I'm not to worried about the weight aslong as they aren't breeze blocks! I'm a size 12, and partially flat footed, with quite a wide foot. Will obviously go try some one but wondered what suggestions people had first to narrow it down?
Cheers!

I use Bont Vapours and they are brilliant! They certainly ain't breeze blocks! One of the lightest shoes out there.

Bont also do wide fitting as well so that could be useful to you. If you go on to Bont's website they have a fitting guide wizard where you measure your foot and put in the measurement to tell you what size you'll need, but worth trying them on as well.

  • Thanks, didnt know about the fitting on the website!
I didn't mean the vapours are breeze blocks, I was implying if somebody recommended some other shoes I'm not to fussed on the weight lol
  • Try Lake too, - 331 and 401s are heat mouldable - I have some coming my way for Xmas!
  • Aren't lakes quite narrow at the front though? I'm not the biggest fan of the boa system either, use it in my spec's atm. Anybody used the Shimano r315's?

They do a wide fit version, and I love the boa system!
