sram out front garmin mount release date??

Just wondering if anyone knew when these would be available in the shops?

Want to get one but cant find anywhere which lists them (not even to preorder). All i can find is claims that they will be launched in Dec.

    the position of the garmin would be too high (same as barfly). I got the k-edge garmin mount and it's great!

    I just looked on the Fisher site (SRAM UK distro) and they have an eta of 25/01/2013, retail £14.99.

    Yeah i looked at these and they do look good, just too pricey. £15 is one thing, but cant justify spending £36 on one.

    Anyone know if they plan, or indeed if k-edge plan on doing a Polar mount ? There must be a fair few people using Polar comps so there could be a market ?

    The best way to do it would be for the top stem manufacturers to make special faceplates with integrated Garmin mounts. They would sell well, even if they'd be fairly expensive (30 to 50 quid ish).

    I think 3T have done one already, but it's crazy money.
