Trek 1.2 vs Synapse 7 Sora

I'm about to buy a bike through a cycle to work scheme which is ran through Evans cycles. I've narrowed down to two bikes, aiming at a price range of £700. I'm new to Road Cycling and it would be my first Road Bike

So I was wondering if anyone has any experience with either the Trek 1.2 c H2 2013 or Cannondale Synapse 7 Sora Triple 2013 bikes, or if anyone could provide me with some useful advice before I commit.

I've got the 2010 trek 1.2 triple & would definitley recommend it. I got it as my first road bike and its fitted the bill perfectly. I have just upgraded to a cube agree race gtc compact, but keeping the trek as my winter bike.
